ELAINE FRANKEL, Psychotherapist and Life Coach
Elaine Frankel is a licensed psychotherapist with over thirty years of clinical experience. Mrs. Frankel has a postgraduate certificate in adult psychotherapy and psychoanalysis and two certificates in life coaching and has provided individual, couples and family therapy. Other areas of practice include parent Education and Women’s Mental Health. She has extensive clinical experience working with the late adolescent, young adult and adult population.
In addition to these areas of practice Mrs. Frankel offers long and short term psychotherapy and life and wellness coaching and infertility counseling. She has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, private practice, university and hospital settings.
As a life coach her focus is on life transitions, career development and health and well-being.
Mrs. Frankel was educated and trained in New York and since 1992 has been licensed in Texas as a Clinical Social Worker. For several years she was an adjunct faculty member at the Baylor Psychiatric Clinic where she taught psycho-dynamic psychotherapy to social work students and fellows. She has also provided clinical supervision to social workers.
Currently, Mrs. Frankel is in private practice in the Houston area and is a Clinical Counselor at Rice University.
